ما هو التحدي؟ What is the challenge?
تحدي ناسا لتطبيقات الفضاء هو أكبر هاكاثون في العالم، يُقام بالتزامن في مئات المدن حول العالم. وعلى مدى يومين، تجتمع الفرق من مختلف التخصصات للاستفادة من بيانات ناسا المفتوحة، وابتكار حلول عملية لتحديات حقيقية تخدم الأرض والفضاء — سواء كانت تطبيقات، أو تصاميم، أو تحليلات، أو سرداً إبداعياً. لا يُشترط أن تكون مبرمجاً؛ فالتحدي يرحب بالمصممين، والباحثين، ورواة القصص، وأصحاب الأفكار الابتكارية تماماً كالمطورين. وهذا العام، تأتي هذه التجربة العالمية إلى المدينة المنورة. The NASA Space Apps Challenge is the world's largest hackathon, held simultaneously in hundreds of cities worldwide. Over two days, teams of all backgrounds leverage NASA’s open data to build practical solutions for real-world challenges on Earth and in space — through apps, designs, data analysis, or creative storytelling. You don't have to be a coder; the challenge welcomes designers, researchers, storytellers, and innovators just as much as developers. This year, we're bringing this global experience to Madinah.

من يمكنه المشاركة؟Who can join?
المشاركة متاحة للشباب والشابات من عمر 18 سنة فأكثر، من مختلف مناطق المملكة ومختلف التخصصات المرتبطة بالــفضاء والتقنية، سواء كانوا طلابًا، موظفين، أو رواد أعمال.Participation is open to young men and women aged 18 and above, from all regions of the Kingdom and from all disciplines related to space and technology, whether they are students, employees, or entrepreneurs.
هل أحتاج فريقاً مسبقاً؟Do I need a team?
لا. تعال وحدك وسنساعدك على تكوين فريق في جلسة الافتتاح.No. Come solo and we'll help you form one at the opening mixer.
هل أحتاج خبرة برمجية؟Do I need coding experience?
إطلاقاً. المشاريع الجيدة تحتاج أيضاً إلى مصممين ورواة قصص وأصحاب معرفة بمجال التحدي نفسه — كالبيئة أو الفلك أو الصحة أو التعليم.Not at all. Great projects also need designers, storytellers, and people who know the subject area itself — climate, astronomy, health, or education.
كم تكلفة المشاركة؟How much does it cost?
المشاركة مجانية بالكامل.The event is completely free to attend.
هل هاكاثون ناسا لتطبيقات الفضاء افتراضي أم حضوري؟ Is NASA's Space Apps Hackathon virtual or in person?
الهاكاثون حضوري بالكامل ويقام في المدينة المنورة.The hackathon is entirely in person and takes place in Madinah.
هل توفّرون السكن والسفر للقادمين من خارج المدينة المنورة؟Do you cover accommodation or travel from outside Madinah?
لا. الفعالية لا توفّر السكن ولا تذاكر الطيران أو المواصلات للمشاركين القادمين من خارج المدينة المنورة، ويتكفّل كل مشارك بترتيبات سفره وإقامته.No. The event does not provide accommodation, flights, or transport for participants travelling from outside Madinah — you arrange your own travel and stay. The venue and meals across the two days are on us.
